Crisp, Cosy, Cuddles

Yay! Today is the first day of Autumn! Which means I can have my candles and blankets out, with no one judging me. Well maybe they are, but I am not bothered at all. Having a space to call my own that I can decorate how I like is something amazing, to have a place defined by me and my love is something special indeed.
Here is my current favourite part of our flat;
This is on one of the sides in our sitting room, the sign is something I picked up a week after we moved in, we didn't even have a table or chairs yet, but I knew it was something we both believed. The flowers were actually bought by me for Jed, red roses are my favourite but he loves being bought flowers! The candles I picked up today, I LOVE scented candles. As a teenager my mum and I would argue about the amount of candles I had, she doesn't see the point in them and I think they are great. I love the little star pattern on them. Stars are very special to me, they connect everything for me, clever little stars.
Yesterday Jed and I went on a lovely date day. We haven't been able to go out for such a long time together so it was really nice to just spend some time just the two of us. Jed was so caring as I was still a bit poorly. We wandered around a nearby town, and then stopped for a late lunch at a lovely little pub. We played card games, and laughed and I drank red wine while he sipped cider. It was`such a perfect afternoon. After that we went on a walk and then found ourselves in a cute diner for dinner. I couldn't eat much as I was unwell (and the portion sizes were unbelievably huge!). Once we had finished dinner we went to the theatre to see Tape Face, who is a physical comedian who quite literally puts tape over his mouth so he doesn't talk on stage. It was a lovely night and I was very happy.
That was our Sunday, and I look forward to the rest of our week.
